AFTER A BATH (ଗାଧୋଇବା ପରେ) .

After a bath

( ଗାଧୋଇ ସାରିବା ପରେ)

I try, try and try,

(ମୁଁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରେ ଏବଂ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରେ)

To wipe myself,

( ମୁଁ ଶୁଖିଲା ହେବା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ

Till I'm dry, dry and dry ନିଜକୁ ପୋଛିବାକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରେ) Hands to wipe,

(ହାତକୁ ପୋଛିବାକୁ ହୁଏ)

And fingers and toes,

( ଏବଂ ହାତର ଆଙ୍ଗୁଠି ଓ ଗୋଡ଼ ଆଙ୍ଗୁଠିକୁ)

And two wet legs,

( ଏବଂ ଦୁଇ ଓଦା ଗୋଡ଼କୁ)

And a shiny nose. 

( ଏବଂ ଉଜ୍ଜ୍ଵଳ ନାକକୁ) 

Just think how much,

( ଟିକିଏ ଚିନ୍ତାକର କେତେ)

Less time I'd take, 

(କମ୍ ସମୟ ନିଏ)

If I were a dog,

(ଯଦି ମୁଁ ଗୋଟିଏ କୁକୁର ହୋଇଥାନ୍ତି)

 I'd shake, shake, shake.) 

(କେବଳ ଝାଡ଼ିଝୁଡ଼ି ହୋଇଯାଆନ୍ତି।)
