My father's name is Dharanidhar Panda. He is a middle-aged man. He is forty five years old. He is a tall and strong man. He is fair and handsome. He always wears simple clothes.
My father is a small businessman. He runs a medicine store in Kendrapara. Our native village is Haripur, a small village near Kendrapara. But we have been living in Kendrapara for the last ten years. My father is hardworking and industrious. He goes to his shop in the morning and works there until late evening. He conducts his business fairly. He deals with his customers properly. So the customers like him. He earns an average amount of twenty five thousand rupees a month. He maintains our family with much strain. He provides us food, clothing and all our other needs. We would not have been brought up properly without him.
I love and give respect to my father. I always carry out his advice. I never tell him a lie or do anything that would hurt him. He likes me very much. I go to his shop on holidays and see how he runs his business and deals with his customers.
He is the head of our family. All the members of the family pay him proper regard. He also looks after the welfare of everybody. He maintains a respectable position in the family. His position in our street is no less. He is one of the important persons of the street. He takes the leading part in all the social and cultural activities of our street. Everybody likes him for his simplicity and honesty. So he has become a good friend of most of the people of the street. He is liked by one and all.
